Medical Assistant

Medical Assistants are among the first to care for patients when they visit a medical office or center. This track is for students who prefer a hands-on, person-to-person medical career.

This career track involves taking medical histories and vital signs, explaining treatment procedures and patient preparation. Upon successful completion of ATA's Medical Assistant program, you will be awarded an Occupational Associate Degree Medical Professional concentration in Medical Assisting.

ATA's Medical Assistant program is a 17-month program that consists of 66 core credits and 24 concentration credits.
