Graduates of this program will be eligible for certifications in:

  • Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN)
    • State Registered Nurse Aid (SRNA)
  • National Health Careers Association
    • Patient Care Technician (CPCT-A)
    • Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
    • EKG Technician (CET)

If you would like to work alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care in a variety of healthcare environments, this could be the right path for you!

This diploma program is designed to train individuals for eligibility in 4 different certifications in the healthcare field. Graduates of this program receive training as a nurse aide, EKG technician, patient care technician as well as phlebotomy skills. This student will learn how to provide basic patient care under the directions of nursing staff. Graduates will be prepared to seek positions such as Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, and Phlebotomist. Graduates may seek employment in hospitals and long-term care facilities.
