Registered Nursing in Louisville, Kentucky

Our Associate’s Degree Registered Nurse program (RN program) is specifically designed to offer students flexibility. If you are interested in registered nursing in Louisville, we offer our Kentucky students the flexibility of online classes while still focusing on the benefit of hands-on training in our on-campus labs.

ATA’s Associate’s Degree Registered Nurse program (ADN) offers a direct path to a new career as an RN in less than 2 years!

The ADN program is taught by experienced and qualified nursing faculty! Students will receive training in a classroom setting, modern on-site laboratories, and also an offsite clinical experience!

This RN program includes a wide variety of NCLEX preparation assessments to help students gain critical thinking skills and the comprehensive nursing knowledge needed to be a successful RN in the healthcare field!

Upon successful completion of the ADN program and clinical practicum, Louisville graduates are eligible to apply to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

The ATA College, Practical/Vocational Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing programs, are pursuing pre-accreditation candidacy status from the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA), located at 2600 Virginia Avenue, NW, 8th Floor, Washington, DC 20037; phone 202-909-2487. Interested parties are invited to submit third-party comments in writing directly to NLN CNEA (cneaaccreditation@nln.org) no later than April 24th, 2024.

Admission Criteria

  • Complete the Nursing Application
  • Acceptance by the Program Director
  • Satisfactorily pass a 9 panel drug test
  • TEAS – RN composite score at the proficient level including:
    • 69% in Reading
    • 63% in Math
    • 60% in English and Language Usage or
  • ACT composite score of at least 19 or higher or
  • SAT composite score of at least 1350
